The Rooms

Situated in an historic old granary in the East Lothian town of North Berwick, No.6 Harbour Terrace offers stylish, spacious, comfortable accommodation, sleeping up to three guests.


The apartment has external stone steps up to an outer door and a vestibule, shared with our downstairs neighbour.

Inside stairs

The private front door into No.6 opens to a storage area and wooden staircase. At the top, all of the living accommodation is on one level.

There is a spacious landing where the single daybed is next to the window with a view of the famous Bass Rock. Lots of books to read here too!

The bedroom's king size bed has a duvet and four pillows. There is a fitted wardrobe with long mirror inside, chest of drawers, bedside tables with lamps, and an old Scottish kist (chest) where you can find cosy blankets. If you are staying for multiple weeks there will be fresh bedlinen and towels here.

Living room

The large living room has a view over the beach, the town roofscape, and North Berwick Law. There is a sofa and armchairs, coffee table, and an electric stove. Television with Freeview, DVD player with plenty of DVDs.

Dining area

The dining area/kitchen is open plan to the living room and has a large table and chairs by the window looking out over the boats in the harbour and the local islands of the Forth; Craigleith, where seal pups can be seen in autumn and winter, and Fidra with its lighthouse. Across the Firth of Forth is the ancient Kingdom of Fife.


The kitchen is open plan to the dining area and includes a fridge, dishwasher, induction hob, electric oven, and microwave.


Separating the living room and kitchen there is a utility cupboard with washing machine, a small freezer, and useful storage space.

The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a heated towel rail.
